Anthony D. Castillo Jr. (“TJ”)
TJ has been with Sonora Behavioral Health for 22 years and currently serves as the facilities Director of Facility Operations. TJ has been a dynamic leader throughout the years, promoting a culture involving teamwork, strength-based decision making, and ethical standards.
TJ’s experience in the field of behavioral health started 25 years ago at the Blake Foundation working with individuals living with developmental disabilities. His passion then led him to work with groups homes throughout the community, eventually landing at Sonora Behavioral Health. Since 2000, Anthony has played an integral role the growth of Sonora Behavioral Health by serving individuals and families with integrity, respect, and honesty, providing excellent patient care, promoting employee growth through mentorship, and empowering staff through leading by example.
TJ is originally from Oakland, CA and moved to Tucson 1997. TJ and his wife, Amy, a psychiatric nurse practitioner here in Tucson, have both dedicated their careers to behavioral health. They have three beautiful children, Hudson, Jase, and Isabel. They enjoy playing sports with their kids, watching football (Go Niners!), camping, swimming, and spending time with family. When he is not at Sonora, you can find TJ on one of the greens at a local golf course or in the backyard barbequing with his family.
