Ruth Danielzuk

Director of Quality & P.I.

Ruth is responsible for monitoring and enhancing the quality of care we provide. She leads initiatives to improve patient outcomes, ensures compliance with healthcare standards, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Ruth’s dedication to excellence ensures that our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Ruth Danielzuk is a seasoned leader in healthcare quality and innovation, with extensive experience managing programs to enhance patient safety and improve care outcomes.

Her past consulting work includes:

  • Assessing the largest CMS-contracted county in California for long-term care, hospice, and ambulatory sites, offering compliance and recertification improvement recommendations.

  • Preparing a skilled nursing facility to regain CMS deemed status through surveys, training, and education.

  • Redesigning the complaints and grievances process to align with CMS and state regulations.

Ruth previously served as Director of Risk Performance Improvement at Acadia Healthcare’s Sonora Behavioral Health, where she led a young team to certification, oversaw a successful Joint Commission survey, and guided COVID-19 mitigation strategies, including support for justice-involved patients. She has since returned to Sonora as Director of Quality and Performance Improvement.

As a project manager and subject matter expert at HMA, she led teams in accreditation, strategic planning, and patient-centered quality improvements.

Ruth holds an MBA from Saint Thomas University, an MA in Psychology and Counseling from Bethel University, and a BS in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
