Joseph Ponessi, CPA

Joe earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Manhattan College as well as a CPA licensure through State of NY. Since graduating college, Joe has worked in the healthcare finance field for 12+ years with experience in the acute care setting and behavioral health. Prior to joining Sonora in 2021, Joe worked as a Staff Accountant and Senior Accountant in the acute care setting in South Jersey. Then, made the transition to behavioral health through a CFO Training program in Boston. After completion of the training, Joe worked in as a CFO for a behavioral health facility in North Jersey for 3+ years. Joe joined the Sonora leadership team in April 2021.
