Alexandra is recognized by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health as a Licensed Associate Counselor as well as a Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor. Alexandra brings over 15 years of professional behavioral health experience and holds a Master’s Degree from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. Alexandra is passionate in quality patient care, evidence based practices, and strategic leadership. Alexandra started her career working with women experiencing co-occurring disorders providing group therapy, case management, and utilization review. Since then Alexandra has been passionate in building new leaders in the behavioral health field. Alexandra has held leadership positions in Utilization Review, Intake, Mobile Assessment, and provided oversight to the Clinical Services, Music, Art, Recreation, and Human Resources Departments. Alexandra centers her leadership approach on the transformational theory. Alexandra is originally from Phoenix, Arizona and relocated to join Sonora Behavioral Health in August of 2022.
